Who is MamaArcher or Reformed Mama?

My name is Kristine. I am a child of the Most High God, helpmeet to a wonderful man, and a stay at home mother. I am a homescholer and use primarily the classical christian approach. I am reformed and covenantal in my theology. My husband and I hold to the quiverfull conviction. My husband is a minister in the United States Air Force and we currently have ten precious children, all of whom we consider blessings from the Lord.

Why the name MamaArcher or Reformed Mama?

MamaArcher–Even though many think that Archer is my last name, it is not.  I go by MamaArcher and my hubby by PapaArcher for a specific reason.  Our hearts have a strong calling and vision placed upon them.  It is a calling and vision for the Biblical family.  This vision is for raising a godly heritage unto the Lord for generations to come not just for our children’s generation.  This takes a long term approach and view.  We are, with the Lord’s guidance, raising our family in this manner.  One of our family’s favorite scripture passages is Psalm 127.  This is where we get our name.  We are training arrows for the Lord, arrows that will go far.

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest,
eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.
Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!
He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

ReformedMama is another nickname. Simply put it is because I am reformed in my theology. I strongly believe in the sovereignty of God. I hold to the doctrines of grace and the 5 solas of the Reformation.
