Ultimate Blog Party 2010

Can it really be that time once again? Time for the Ultimate Blog Party! I love this event every year. It provides a great opportunity to meet new blogging moms and make some great online friends! So please feel free to join in on the fun.

For my new blog party visitors let me give you a brief introduction.  I am a conservative Christian.  I am politically conservative as well.  I am a homeschooling mom of nine.  Well, I just recently found out baby number ten is on the way.  We are very excited!  My hubby is a minister and is currently serving in the military.  He left three weeks ago for some training and then off to Afghanistan until late October.  Our little baby is due the end of November so he should be home in time!

I tend to blog about anything and everything.  So many say that if you want a hip hop happening blog you have to have a theme.  Well, my theme here is randomness. I like that.  Sometimes I am serious, sometimes I am not.  I blog about my faith, homeschooling, life in the military, my family, and anything else that comes to mind.  We currently live in Alaska.  Alaska is a truly amazing place and I love it here.  So, I blog a bit about our life here too.  I love having visitors who comment.  It is easier to build relationships that way.  Visitors who don’t comment are just as welcome and appreciated! :o )  I am also a member over at SITS so I love to comment back!

    Thanks for stopping by my blog during the UBP! Funny, I was eating Jelly Beans while reading your post and you said to grab some. I almost choked because I started laughing! I’m debating if I should make the WP move or not…

    @Jamie H, LOL–the jellybean thing is pretty funny! I went back and forth over whether to switch to WP for almost a year before I finally did it! I really do enjoy wordpress I just cannot fiddle with things as much, I am still afraid of messing up my template or something.

    I think that this blog party is great for a number of reasons. The amount of people I’ve met, so far.. in two days… is astounding. Especially considering I have actively been searching for blogs to surf for months, and suddenly they’re all linked up in one easy guide. :)
    The other really great thing is that I’ve been spat out at the blog of (pretty much) my polar opposite, right here.
    I clicked on your blog because I wanted to know in what way you are reformed, and now I see. It’s great that you are so strong in your faith, your importance of family, etc. I’m always glad to see people who live their lives, knowing what they want and unapologetic of their choices. That is Freedom, and it feels awesome.
    So I’m not an American, I’m not (willing to call myself a) Christian, I’m a mother of one and not (I can’t even IMAGINE) of double digits. Yet I can see how strong you are and that is so inspiring.
    So…
