Something to Ponder
A people who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted because their countercultural lifestyles stick out like a sore thumb. When family patterns are reformed, it is so public that everyone notices. Family, friend, co-worker and church member are easily offended by family reforms. – Scott Brown

I’m such a sucker for a twitter link with no tag. It’s irresistible. LOL. And the quote is true enough. Sigh.

@Twinkle Mom @ Sunflower Faith, I am glad that the Lord’s timing is always perfect and that you read this at a time of your need. I guess twitter can be good for something other than wasting time, eh?!

Oh, SOOOO right. I was thinking today that the young mom looking on at me with disdain as I corrected my five little girls in Lowe’s for misbehaving might have that “look” because I was correcting them for something her child was doing as well.
Nothing convicts one quite like a life led in contrast to your own!

@Kris,
I love what you said here! It is so very true!
Rather than face what one might see in another as a place of challenge for change or conviction at least be firm enough in your own convictions to not have to act with disdain toward another. If by chance it is a purely sinful act that we are witnessing we should not act with disdain but with a saddened and prayerful heart for the other.
{note to self: keep that attitude in check, proceed with prayer and humility}
