Time does fly doesn't it? I can remember the almost 24/7 news coverage of the event. I can remember that it literally brought Walter Cronkite to tears when man set foot on the moon.
The wonder of God's creation and the evidence of His love should bring each of us to tears and send us to out knees in prayers of thanksgiving everyday.
Thank you Lord for the joy of our salvation and the privilege of the relationship we can have with you.
Have a wonderful week-end.

40 years - Wow. I do remember the landing day! (I know I'm old :0(
40 years ago your leader and many of those watching the events unfold would have prayed and prayed regularly. Creation was still widely acknowledged to be the work of God, and the lives of those men were placed in his providential care. One step for a man....but what has happened to mankind in our "christian" countries since then?

Thanks for the reminder to give my lads a bit of history lesson. I'm sure the landing anniversary will make the news but I hadn't though of it.
