Just Thinking With My Fingers
I would say that I am just thinking out loud but that phrase doesn’t seem to fit when I am typing. Today is another one of those days when I have a bunch of random things floating through my mind and I need to get them out! So here we go, a visit once again to my random thoughts.
- I have two different birthday parties for my children to attend this week.
- Bear Paw Festival is this weekend and we are planning to make it at least to the parade.
- All the boys will be gone on Saturday (the day of the parade) one paint balling and the other two dipnetting.
- I need to make a run to the local homeschooling store.
- I wish the rest of my curriculum would hurry up and arrive so I can finish my school lesson plans for next year.
- Bags of stuff to drop off at the Salvation Army.
- I am going to miss my walk today unless I go later in the heat of the day.
- I cannot believe how warm it has been here in Alaska!
- I wish they would get the wildfires under control, the haze in the air is so yucky!
- Back to my walk–it is so frustrating to walk so much and climb mountains and not loose a pound of weight! I have lost a few inches and I know that is what matters but it is still so very frustrating!
- I am also continuing to loose hair, the baby is 7 months old! I am now thankful that I have had an over abundance of hair, turns out I needed it!
- Our baby is now crawling!
- The almost three year old is officially potty trained!
Well, that is all the randomness I can afford for now. That birthday party time is quickly approaching! I hope you all have a bee-u-ti-ful day!!!!!

I love blog posts like this – they’re the ones that help us get to know what real life is like!!
It is cool getting to know you better.
Does Alaska really get hot in summer? I didn’t know that!

It has been hot this week! In the mid 80′s and we have no air conditioning here. IT has also been dry, a few wildfires burning and the sky is so hazy from the smoke you cannot even see the mountains.

Congrats on your potty trained 3 year old. I have a 2 and a half year old that I’ve been waiting on potty training until I feel he’s ready.
Very neat that your baby is now crawling. I’m still waiting on my 6 and a half month old but I don’t expect anything until at least 7 months.
I know how you feel on the weight loss thing. I’m still working on that myself. Just keep on going. And keep telling yourself that losing those inches is what matters. I am sure the weight will start melting off soon enough.

You might even consider hiding your scale for a month or so to make yourself feel a little better. You can just keep using the measuring tape to see your progress.
