One Crazy Week

This week is showing the signs of being one crazy week already.  My children are busy all week going through standardized testing.  We have to make a 45-60 minute drive just to get to the testing area, that is a bit early for our crew to rise and shine but we are managing.

Yesterday was my birthday.  It was a wonderful one even though I spent half the day waiting with my 4 little ones in a church sanctuary for the others to finish testing.  I cam home to flowers, a beautiful cake, and an amazing gift.

My hubby is working nights this week but was able to stay home last night.  Although he was trying to maintain his night schedule so that was a bit strange.  He is also trying to finish remodeling the study before he leaves tdy.  Last night was texturing the walls.  What a messy job!

I had to vote yesterday for our mayoral race and schoolboard race plus a number of budget matters.  Why is it individuals are expected to keep their budgets in check but for some reason government doesn’t think they are and that they can just tax the responsible people more??  Ok, I will get off that soapbox before I even get started!

We have the Good Friday service this week and that will be our only Holy Week service our family will share together before hubby leaves.  Resurrection Sunday will be stange without worshipping with my hubby.

Well that is all I have for now, I need to get the children out the door.  Enjoy your day!
