Amen! :) I have big news to be announced after Easter in this area, but it'll have to wait until we announce it to family first. ;)

I think you are so right on. I never thought about it. I can't remember children being talked about at my wedding but most of it was a complete blur. I think part of the reason may be that we so often just think in the here and now even though we try to think of the future. And when we think of the future it often doesn't include those people we don't know yet. Did that make sense?
I love that blessing. I never really thought about what that blessing means but reading just that verse without all of the others around it, it is a powerful blessing.

Good Post. It makes us realize the damage birth control has done to our idea of what a marriage and its blessings are all about. Families are a beautiful thing.

Sincerely,
Linda

Amen! Sounds wonderful! Now if I could just get married... Already have 39 babies/young children WITHOUT marrying though, which sounds pretty good, LOL!

Great post. Our scripture reading at our wedding was Psalm 127.

It's a sad commentary to think that a blessing like that wouldn't be viewed as such.

Beautiful. And lovely reminders. Out of our 12 children we have 2 married and 3 girls right now at marrying age. Actually kind of scary!!! Perhaps the 3 girls are the easy part considering our youngest 5 are also daughters!!
