I got your email about the carvival but I have a question about how to submit a url for a post about a quiverful topic. How do I go about doing that?

Hey, I missed this carnival coming up - or maybe you have to be on the blog roll to participate in this one. I've written several posts lately on this topic....and loved what the Peterson Clan had to say. As a 45 yo QF mom of 9 - who hasn't had a baby in 3 1/2 years....I've had to REMEMBER that QF is not about a number of children or large families - it's about being content with God being Lord - the results are up to him. LOL

Kristine - I WAS going to email you - I'm teaching Psalms at PWOC and ps 127 is up for tomorrow night. I KNOW that some are going to attack on QF because they've had quite a few comments in recent months when they saw me reading the Duggar book. I can handle the topic well - but yesterday someone told me "in Bible times a quiver held 5 arrows." Her point being that families like us with more than 5 are disobedient. ::snort:: Have you heard this before? I'm digging out study books to research today - but if you know something that would help - please email me - dschoosingjoy@gmail.com - obviously I don't want to go into many details on my blog as it is read by many chapel folks these days. LOL I've heard this before...but in my mind if I were going into a battle I'd take however many arrows as I could.....and I figure it didn't matter to me because God was deciding our "number" - but I'd like to know a bit more about the historical context of quiver - as I"m quite sure it will be brought up at Bible Study. LOL

Thanks!
