Quiverfull Carnival #7
Visit Cindy at Life-Learning in a Family Enviroment to read about their journey in her blog post, Letting God Decide the Size of our Family.
Visit Christine over at Live to Learn to read her story. Her family has traveled the road of sterilization and reversal. In her post, Our Vasectomy Reversal Story, she shares about the amazing way that the Lord has worked in their lives.
Lady Why over at Where the Kudzu Grows has an amazing story of going through sterilization and reversal two times. The Lord has worked in many amazing ways and she lists miracle after miracle in her story. To read visit: A Testimony of the Lord’s Patience, Grace, Miracles, and Faithfulness.
Kerri has a unique way of sharing her beliefs. Read her Arrow Story on her blog, Life with Full Hands.
Audrey, has taken the time to show the effects living this lifestlye has had upon the generations of her family. If only more would stop and consider the great impact they could have for the Lord if only they would be open to the blessings of the Lord. Read her post over on her blog, So, This is Heaven on Earth.
The last link in this carnival is for the Peterson Clan blog. The post is a short one but touches on a topic that many do not see. The fact that not all who live this lifestyle are blessed with many children and that there must be contentment and trust concerning that as well.
I hope you are blessed and encouraged by the links included in this carnival. Please take some time to browse the blogs listed, leave them a comment, and please come back here and share your favorite link, something you learned, something that encouraged you or made you think. For more blogs of quiverfull minded families go to the quiverfull page. Have a blessed day!

Great stories. I particularly appreciate the Peterson Clan and the acknowledgement that some who give God the control and desire children are not so blessed. And some who have seemingly small families have stories of struggles, loses and heartbreaks we can’t imagine. I also feel for young marrieds who are constantly asked when they are starting their family – some have left it with the Lord and been greatly grieved when they are not pregnant straight away.
We know the Lord will do what is best for them but I guess I’m saying, a good example and a lot of love goes a long way.
Thanks for the articles.

Hey, I missed this carnival coming up – or maybe you have to be on the blog roll to participate in this one. I’ve written several posts lately on this topic….and loved what the Peterson Clan had to say. As a 45 yo QF mom of 9 – who hasn’t had a baby in 3 1/2 years….I’ve had to REMEMBER that QF is not about a number of children or large families – it’s about being content with God being Lord – the results are up to him. LOL
Kristine – I WAS going to email you – I’m teaching Psalms at PWOC and ps 127 is up for tomorrow night. I KNOW that some are going to attack on QF because they’ve had quite a few comments in recent months when they saw me reading the Duggar book. I can handle the topic well – but yesterday someone told me “in Bible times a quiver held 5 arrows.” Her point being that families like us with more than 5 are disobedient. ::snort:: Have you heard this before? I’m digging out study books to research today – but if you know something that would help – please email me – dschoosingjoy@gmail.com – obviously I don’t want to go into many details on my blog as it is read by many chapel folks these days. LOL I’ve heard this before…but in my mind if I were going into a battle I’d take however many arrows as I could…..and I figure it didn’t matter to me because God was deciding our “number” – but I’d like to know a bit more about the historical context of quiver – as I”m quite sure it will be brought up at Bible Study. LOL
Thanks!

I got your email about the carvival but I have a question about how to submit a url for a post about a quiverful topic. How do I go about doing that?
