What a blessed reminder, Ruby! I often tremble and cry at my glaring weaknesses in mothering. My hope and comfort is that He alone saves and He alone placed each of us in this family! Including me! Praise Him for His goodness and grace!

I am appreciating your gracious answers to these oft asked questions. Thankyou. To Rebecca, we have to remember that God saves and not us via homeschooling. We do what we believe we are commanded, but sometimes home trained kids walk astray, and sometimes against the “odds” kids educated in public schools are graciously saved. May God grant us the wisdom and strength to train them up in the His ways.

I have seen some families successfully raise children without homeschooling them and yet, particularly when I consider the Deuteronomy passage and the importance of passing on a biblical worldview to our children, I wonder, how can it be done if the children are away from the home the majority of the day?
