Pondering

Sculpture of Lady Reading Book
Recently my hubby purchased a couple of books; Christ of the Covenants and Christ of the Prophets by O. Palmer Robertson. I had heard wonderful things about Christ of the Covenants and have wanted to read it for a long time. I am beginning to work my way through it. As I looked at the book I recognized the author. He is the man who runs the African Bible College in Uganda, where a friend and previous pastor of ours is serving. It is a small world.
Click on the book for an overview if you are interested.
What have you been reading lately? Do you have a good book to share? What did you like about it and what did you dislike? What did you learn? This week share with us a good book.

Looks like a good book. I have many on my I want to read list right now but I have no time to read. Well, actually if I read a book, I wouldn’t have time to read my blogs. But even those are sporadic at this moment. Someday I will have time to read a book again, someday.

I am re-reading Releasing the Rivers Within by Dwight Edwards. It’s less well known than the first volume: Revolution Within, but I just love how practical it is in it’s application to everyday Christianity. (I am a very concrete person.)
