Matanuska Glacier Water
We have not officially started school because of all that we have going on but that does not mean we have not been learning! Our children are learning a lot about remodeling, how to use tools, plumbing, building a wall, and painting. There are also the excursions into the Alaskan wild that have them learning. I thought today I would share with you some photos of our trip to the Matanuska Glacier. Here are a few shots of a place in the glacier where the water is flowing. It was really neat to see and so cool to listen to the sound of the water gushing through!

Oh Mama Archer! How interesting! To think you get to live close to a glacier. Wow! Is the remodeling going well? I can’t believe it is only 50 more days to your due date.

Not every lesson learned comes from a book. Learning to work, help others, doing a little construction, learning enjoy and appreciate creation all require active participation. I am glad that things are going well. Hope you’re ready for your first Alaskan winter.
