Ongoing Projects
We moved into our new home on Saturday and have many ongoing projects. There are several things we are trying to get finished before our household goods arrive on Monday. Will we finish? Who knows but we sure are trying! Here is a list of ongoing projects at our house this week, only a few have actually been completed.
- Trip to Lowe’s for supplies.
- Priming and painting.
- Demolition of a wall.
- Plumbing with black pipes and copper pipes.
- Waterfall from the ceiling until piping is finished.
- Running cable for internet, cable tv, and telephone.
- Another trip to Lowe’s for supplies.
- Framing a wall.
- Drywalling.
- Installing a doorbell.
- Installing new carpet.
- Yet another trip to Lowe’s!
- Installing wood flooring.
Anyone tired yet? Want to come and help?? Whew! I just woke up and am ready to go back to bed!

Sounds like fun. ;p
If you didn’t live 2,930 miles away, I would bring the kids on over and we would get to work. My kids are great at doing projects and have a lot of experience with renovations.
Get lots of rest in between working Mama and remember to drink lots of water.
I am so excited for you guys! Your house and land are amazing.

Hope you live near the Lowes store. I notices that you have it labeled as Alaska, are you now living in Alaska? We just vacationed there this summer and loved it.

Make sure you insulate those pipes properly. You don’t want that waterfall to return in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter.
Have a great week-end.
