T13: Great Things About Alaska

Since moving to Alaska a few months ago I have had the opportunity to see so many things. There is so much about Alaska that is great! Here are just 13!
  1. mountains
  2. all of the amazing colors on the mountains as fall erupts
  3. glaciers
  4. icebergs in the lake
  5. ocean view
  6. watching salmon swim upstream to spawn
  7. eating fresh salmon
  8. the wildlife: moose, bear, bald eagles, foxes, and caribou
  9. cooler weather
  10. parks, parks, and more parks
  11. let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
  12. great gift shops
  13. Governor Sarah Palin

    Your #11 (snow) is exactly what my TT is about. I am definitely not ready for it to snow (Alaska has been more home for 40…the novelty of snow has worn off!). Happy TT!

    Ah, my husband just mentioned last night that he wouldn’t mind moving to Alaska if Utah doesn’t work out. Now that you wrote all this wonderful stuff, I know he’ll want to go!
