Celebrating Our Anniversary

It was eighteen years ago today that my hubby and I said “I do.” It has been a time of joy with ups and downs. Our years together have also been sprinkled with children. I can still say that my hubby is my best friend. I am so thankful for him and proud of all he has accomplished. The Lord has truly blessed me!
My hubby is busy working today and is on call tonight but we celebrated over the weekend, which is good since I am sick today. We went out for a steak dinner and stopped and picked up a gift. Instead of giving individual gifts this year we decided on a joint gift. Since arriving in Alaska we have seen so many neat things and decided that we would do something Alaskan. We bought ourselves a whale bone carving. We absolutely love it. I cannot wait until we are in our home and I can pull it out and place it in a safe place! I will share a photo of it with you later on. It is bubble wrapped and packed away until we are in our home.
