The Final List
Well, the time is nearing. Our packers come on Monday and we have a few more things to do before they get here. This is our checklist that needs to be completed in the next few days.
- Power wash the drive way.
- Take Turkish rugs outside and clean them.
- Wash all curtains.
- Pack suitcases for a family of 10, enough to make due for the next 3 months of suitcase living and including stuff for camp.
- Salvation Army pick up.
- Donations to else where need to arrive else where.
- Get older son’s schoolwork mailed off to the auditing service.
- Clean out other children’s school things from this past year.
- Laundry, Laundry, Laundry.
- Give plants away.
- We still need to make kenneling arrangements on the other end.
- Cut & edge lawn then clean and empty the mower and edger.
- Clean BBQ grill.
Are you tired yet???? I definitely am! It is 10 am and I am ready for a nap!

I have a gas grill– are you supposed to have some way to clean those out?
Hope that your trip is uneventful– more than Bob’s trip to the Twippo concert, anyway!

You just have to make sure to wash it all out. AND the packers do not let you take your propane tank. Thankfully we have charcoal so all we have to worry about is washing it!

Good luck with all the last minute stuff. I’m sure it will all work out and you will be happily settled in your new home before you know it.
Grace and Peace to all of you.
Happy TT!

Wow! Suitcase living for three months? I cannot imagine that. Of course I lived for two years out of a duffle bag, so it can be done.
Have a great adventure and thanks again for stopping by.
Happy TT

Our neighbors are PCS’ing as well and their movers come Tuesday her list looks similar with the exception of packing for 10, for three months.
Isn’t it nice not having to pack the house yourself though?!

Praying all goes well with all of the packing and journeying. It is great to have packers…its not too expensive over here and its was my treat on the last move we made…so worth it..just take lots of deep breaths and alot of prayer.
Hope you all have a great journey and that the adventure goes really well for everyone….hope the new home is great.
