"Mom & Dad" — "Husband & Wife" Banished by California

This type of indoctrination has been going on in the government school districts for several years. After years of being written into the curriculum and requiring so called “tolerance training”, we are now seeing it being thrust into action full force. Why have so many ignored the issue until now? It is easier to remove a seed than a full grown tree.

“Mom and Dad” as well as “husband and wife” have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

Further, homecoming kings now can be either male or female – as can homecoming queens

it also forces every hospital in California – even private, religious hospitals – to adopt policies in support of transsexuality, bisexuality, and homosexuality and opens up nonprofit organizations to lawsuits if they exclude members that engage in homosexual, bisexual, or transsexual conduct.

Further, the groups advise,”If you change your name to one that better matches your gender identity, a school needs to use that name to refer to you.” The advocacy group also warns schools against bringing parents into any such discussion with students.

that’s so funny.. we both blogged this…

It will be interesting to see if the homeschool numbers go up in California!

Unbelievable! I wouldn’t let my kid stay in the public schools after this.

Exactly why is this law disgusting?

  4. MamaArcher Says:

There are several reasons that I am appalled by this legislation.

    1. These lifestyles are rendered an abomination in scripture.

    2. The refusal to involve the parents.

    3. the school’s job is to educate (reading, writing, arithmatic) not social engineering.

    4. This also opens up the possibility for sexual crimes being perpetrated against students, there are no boundaries.

5.this forces regulations upon and opens up persecution on religious organizations and individuals because of their religious beliefs and stances.

    6. It does not protect the rights of those who do indeed disagree.

    7. Gov. Schwarzenegger is not standing for the party he claims to represent.

Tolerance does not equal acceptance! I can tolerate that someone disagrees, that does not mean I have to accept it as correct and visa versa. This forces one way of thinking to the exclusion of another (the right and true one in my personal belief.)

I appreciate the fact that you are willing to discuss this even if we might disagree.

I came across this article earlier and was thinking of blogging it too.
Much of this was already going on it schools across the country; maybe people’s eyes will finally be opened to just how bad the public school system is.

this has been going on for a long time, many I have spoken with have tried to explain away what was going on and minimizing things. Maybe eyes will be opened and people made aware.
