Honor Your Pastor
October is National Clergy Appreciation Month. Clergy Appreciation National Day of Honoring is October 14th, which is the second Sunday in October. It is Biblical to render honor to those who faithfully serve in this very challenging position, a position of great consequense. Often their service goes unnoticed and unappreciated. This October please make a special effort to honor your Pastor, Elders, Bishops, and Chaplains who preach the Word of God.
I Timothy 5:17
Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.
1 Thessalonians 5:12-13
We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work.
