Getting Ready For School

I know that summer has just barely started but I am beginning to think ahead to the next school year. It must have something to do with the fact that I have begun to unpack our home school curriculum and place it on the shelves. So today will be spent ordering new catalogs, finishing the unpacking of the curriculum we already have, and planning for the fall. I will need to figure out a new schedule and get it written down.

Now of course, I will not complete this today but getting started is unusually the hardest part for me, so just beginning and thinking ahead is a big step.

    Good luck getting everything unpacked!

I’m in the middle of planning for the upcoming school year and it’s so hard to narrow down the choices. I’ve got the 4 R’s picked out but am having trouble with history & science. I’ve been praying for discernment, and hope the Lord will show me the way soon! :-)

We use Veritas Press for history and ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!!!!!!!
Ror science we use Apologia for science and have been really pleased.

Thanks for the suggestions! Veritas Press doesn’t work for our family’s faith but Apologia is one of the options I’m considering for science.

I do not know if you have looked into this, I do not know much about it, (but if I am correct from loking at your blog) this might work, it is Catholic curriculum.
