Direction
One of the stops along our trip was the Four Corners National Monument.
There was not a lot to see but it was neat being able to be at the corners of four different states all at once. Admittedly all the states look pretty similar in the same location but there were a few differences. On the Utah side there was a little bit more red and on the Colorado side there were a few snow capped mountains in the far distance and then you could see down into the ensuing valleys of New Mexico and Arizona.
As I have mentioned before this has been a very difficult move for us to make and as I stood there at the Four Corners and looked at a desolate landscape (the direction we were heading) and back at the snow capped mountains from whence we came I will admit I was a bit saddened. But I have come to learn that even though we are not were we desire to be if we are where God wants us life is fuller! Sometimes all we see is the desolate road ahead and miss the life that does abound there, we often overlook the blessings and thus miss out on them all together. This is a crossroads moment in our lives. Will we continue to look back with anything more than fond memories or will we embrace this new adventure that God has granted us?
I dearly miss Spokane and the friends and family we left there and long to see them again but if I just mope around wishing to be back there I will miss the goodness of where we are and the blessings and lessons that God has in store for us here.
Proverbs 16:9 The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.

I miss you too!
The other day I had a lady named Kristine ask me to go tell Mrs (insert your last name) something. For some reason, that request was just hard for me to process, now who is it you want me to give this message? Not to mention that behind her was a Mr (insert your last name) who had no connection to the Mrs I was asked to take a message to. Strange feeling. Very disorienting.
Now, on another topic: I have been wanting to ask you if you would consider doing some sort of regular feature on family movies. If I have a particular movie I’m interested in, I can always get all the details about it on Plugged In, but sometimes it’s nice to just have a personal recommendation.
I have lots of ideas how a feature like that could be structured, if you need them.

Rebecca~
I can imagine how confusing that would be, I guess my name is just too common! *grin*
I would be glad to do the movie thing, send me some ideas and I will look into doing that, I just hope I can do it justice for you, movies are our vice around here as you know!
