Words for the Moment
As I sat here earlier going over my blog and reading replies, I noticed the verse for today.
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
I thought to myself that it was a great verse and one I knew well. Then the phone rang. It was my husband with news I was not ready to hear. We now have to leave even earlier on our move. Earlier by another 1 1/2 -2 weeks! There are a whole bunch of last minute “I want to do things” that are now being scratched off of the calendar. Children will have some more disappointments to deal with and dealing with that is just not really something I want to do right now. After getting off of the phone with my hubby the verse above popped into my head and I thought of what a great God I have! He knew I needed to be reminded of His plan for my life and to trust in Him, that He is working things for my good. I am again having to submit to His will even though it is really not what I want to be doing.
So I will focus on the fact that God knows what is best and try and see the bright side of things and the adventures that await our family in the coming weeks.
Lord, thank you for your word and the timeliness of it in my life today!

I know that feeling all too well! So when are you guys moving now? Email us and let us know… if I move forward in Jamestown that is mid June in Virginia. Otherwise, we will probably be at my parents for June and possibly July as well cause it will have been two years by then since last seeing.

He is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can even think or imagine (my paraphrase, ha ha). He has such good plans for us, and I am glad that He comforted you ahead of time and had His words ready for you when you needed them. I hope all goes well for your move and that all of your children do well with the transition.
